The centrifugal slurry pump is the most common and widely used type of slurry pump. Like other centrifugal pumps, the centrifugal slurry pump also uses the rotating impeller to act on the slurry and convert the energy into the potential energy and kinetic energy of the slurry to achieve the purpose of transportation.

When designing a centrifugal slurry pump, you need to consider:
1. Allow abrasive solid particles to pass. Under special circumstances, the size of the particles will be very large. The largest slurry pump can allow 530 mm of solid objects to pass.
2. Shaft seals must have various forms and materials to meet the needs of different slurries and different installation conditions.
3. The material must be able to withstand the multiple effects of slurry abrasion, erosion, corrosion, etc.
4. In order to obtain a longer service life, the working speed of the slurry pump will be much lower than that of the clean water pump under the same parameter conditions.
5. The bearings and shafts of the pump are better able to adapt to heavy loads and harsh working conditions. etc.
Structural form: horizontal & vertical, single stage & multi-stage, double shell & single shell
If it is a double shell, whether the shell is radially or axially split, whether the inner shell is metal or non-metal, etc.
